This sets the same red, green and blue values. It is the same game and the same scoring — an invalid code never uses up a guess.

    How to play

The target is a colour made from red, green and blue screen light. Move the three sliders until your colour looks like it, then submit. After each guess you get a similarity score and, for each channel, whether to increase it, decrease it, or leave it alone.

The score is a simple straight-line distance between the two colours in RGB, shown as a percentage: 100% is identical and the round is won at 98%. It is a game score, not a scientific measure of how two colours are perceived.

This mixes light on a screen, the way a display does — it is not a simulation of mixing physical paint. The target values are revealed when the round ends.
